"There is no greater feeling than catering to those who need it most," said Ed Spinaio, CEO, Time to Cater. "Our team feels a strong commitment to help serve nutritious meals to anyone who cannot afford to eat. With the help of the community we can ensure that the hungry receive proper nutrition before school is back in session."
For many families in the St. Louis area, knowing where their next meal comes from is among their biggest concern. Nearly 135,000 children in St. Louis are at risk for hunger, which represents enough children to fill Busch Stadium three times. With help from the St. Louis Area Food Bank, Time to Cater's goal is to provide more than 300 meals this month to families.
"Donations not only provide a meal for St. Louis families in need, but also help provide a sense of hope," says Spinaio. "We all need to do our part to help the hungry, because the need does not go away."
Now through September 30, Time to Cater is collecting food and monetary donations from organizations, individuals and families to ensure enough meals are offered throughout St. Louis. Donations can be made online at http://bit.ly/1cll3ER or at one of the drop-off site bins located at 600 Olive Street in Downtown St. Louis.
